Police yet to decide on Dragons fate

Police will today interview a newspaper photographer to determine whether St George Illawarra winger Wes Naiqama is to face charges of driving while disqualified.

Photographs of the 24-year-old winger getting into a car and sitting in the vehicle driver's seat in the inner Sydney suburb of Surry Hills were published by News Limited yesterday, sparking speculation he will be sacked by the Dragons.

Naiqama is suspended from driving until 2013.

Photographer John Grainger has told the Daily Telegraph Naiqama was driving the vehicle. A NSW police spokeswoman says a decision will be made on whether the winger has a case to answer after they interview Grainger later today.

Naiqama was originally disqualified from driving in 2002, and had the disqualification increased in December last year after being caught driving unlicensed three months earlier.
