Whitehaven also booked a spot in the last eight, winning 29-6 at Batley Bulldogs.

Steve McCormack's men led 22-0 at half time, thanks to two tries from Howard Hill and one each for Paul O'Neill and Wesley Wilson, with Mick Nanyn kicking three goals.

Nanyn's try edged them away before Paul Harrison got Batley off the mark, but Nanyn's penalty and Leroy Joe's drop goal secure Whitehaven's victory.
