Preview: Catalans v St Helens (R25)

Catalans Dragons are set to give a debut to back rower Cyril Gossard and recall Thomas Bosc for full-back Renaud Guige, who misses his first match for three months with a hamstring injury.

Hooker Julien Rinaldi also returns after missing last week?s defeat at Wakefield Trinity Wildcats.

Although Saints include hooker Tommy Hodgkinson, who last played for the first team 12 years ago and will be making his Super League bow at the age of 36, there are also four teenagers and three 20-year-olds in the 18-strong squad.

Saints will rely heavily on the experience of Great Britain forwards Lee Gilmour and Nick Fozzard and Kiwi international Vinnie Anderson, but it is the 20-year-old James Graham who has the responsibility of captaincy.

The highly promising front rower is seen by Anderson as a future club captain and led Saints in a pre-season friendly in Dublin, but he insists the club?s youngsters will need little motivation.

"I think they?ll be pretty excited," said Graham. "I probably won?t have to say that much to them.

"They obviously realise they?ve got a great chance to showcase themselves and get themselves in Daniel?s thoughts. It?s a great opportunity for certain players to prove themselves.

"There are two points up for grabs and we?ll be doing our best to get them."
