Preview: Dragons v Giants (R27)

Powergen Challenge Cup finalists Huddersfield Giants will have all but one of their Twickenham line-up in action in their penultimate match of the season at Catalans Dragons.

Second rower Steve Snitch is the man to miss out as the Giants look to finish the season in style.

Huddersfield, who are still without hamstring victim Keith Mason, are set to be unchanged from their 24-18 win over Salford Reds, although coach Jon Sharp has added half-back Tom Hemingway to the team that beat Salford.

They are the last engage Super League club to visit Perpignan and coach Jon Sharp is relieved that the kick-off at Stade Aime Giral has been put back to 8pm local time to accommodate a rugby union match between Perpignan and Toulouse.

"I?ve spoken to a lot of coaches and players from other clubs who have said one of the most difficult things about playing over there is the heat," said Sharp.

"Playing in 30 degrees is far from ideal. But the French obviously seem more comfortable in it, because they?re training in it all the time and get used to it.

"Hopefully, the heat won?t be so intense when we play, which will even things out."

The Dragons, desperately hoping to avoid the wooden spoon in their first season, welcome back former Wigan Warriors and Warrington Wolves forward Jerome Guisset from suspension.

Veteran second rower Pascal Jampy will make an emotional farewell as long as he recovers in time from a calf injury.
