Warrington v Salford (Round 9)

Warrington Wolves have the chance to avenge their shock opening-day home defeat by Salford when the teams meet at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.

The Wolves were stunned 24-6 by the Reds in February but sounded their intentions with last week?s away win over champions Bradford.

?I think the boys have come a long way since the opening game defeat and Good Friday will be a totally different fixture,? insisted Warrington club captain Paul Rauhihi.

?We proved at Bradford what we can achieve as a unit and we are ready to show more of that.?

The Reds have demonstrated enough consistency to prove that their third place is no fluke and they have forwards Paul Highton and Gareth Haggerty back from injury as they look to complete the double.
