Pryce is right for Tigers

PRYCE IS RIGHT FOR THE TIGERS

Castleford are delighted to announce that their winger Waine Pryce, who was out of contract at the end of this season, has signed a new two-year deal with the club that will take him through to 2004.

The twenty-year-old, who joined the Tigers from junior rugby in Bradford, has been in good form this season scoring a great try against his hometown team just last Friday.

Waine said, “I'm very pleased to have signed a new deal. I've been at Castleford since I was sixteen and didn't want to leave the club. It's great to have this contract sorted out and I hope to do the business for the Tigers fans over the next couple of years. The side has been a bit inconsistent this year but looking to the future we have a number of young players coming through and I believe that things are only going to get better.”

Castleford's Chief Executive Richard Wright said, “We are very pleased that Waine has committed himself to the Tigers for another two years. He is an exciting young player, one of a number at the club who are beginning to blossom and they are the future of the Tigers. Our players can see what we are trying to achieve at the club and that we are ambitious to succeed. Re-signing players of Waine's promise fits in with our plans. We have seen his tremendous potential this year and I can see him going from strength to strength.”
