Queensland State of Origin team for
Game III

The Queensland selectors have made a few changes to their squad for the final Origin clash at Suncorp Stadium on July 16.

Cowboys goal kicking whiz Josh Hannay comes into the side to make his debut, pushing Tonie Carroll back to the lock position with Travis Norton falling to the bench. In a strange reversal, Dane Carlaw comes into the starting line-up with Petero Civoniceva moving to the front row and in-form prop Steven Price also dropping back to the bench.

Rookie Melbourne hooker Cameron Smith is also making his debut after some sterling performances at club level in recent weeks, with the aggressive Michael Crocker now on the interchange bench.

And Andrew Gee's representative career finally looks to be over after being sacked altogether along with Penrith's Scott Sattler who is probably facing a similar fate after making his debut in Origin II at the ripe old age of 31.

The team is:-

Darren Lockyer Shannon Hegarty Josh Hannay Brent Tate Matt Sing Ben Ikin Shaun Berrigan Tonie Carroll Gorden Tallis (c) Dane Carlaw Petro Civoniceva Cameron Smith Shane Webcke Interchange: Steve Price, Michael Crocker, Travis Norton, Matthew Bowen.
