R2K invited to enter team into 2005
St.George Relay for Life

Following R2K's participation and fundraising efforts in the 2004 St.George Relay for Life event, the NSW Cancer Council has invited R2K to again enter a team in the 2005 event.

The St.George Relay for Life is an event where teams of 10 to 15 people take turns walking or running around OKI Jubilee Stadium to raise funds for cancer research, education, support services and advocacy. The relay is for young and old and you can walk as many or few laps as you like.

A festival-style atmosphere is created around the event and participants are entertained with bands, food and fun. Each person on the team pays a registration fee which includes a polo shirt and breakfast, while additional fundraising is also encouraged.

The 2005 relay is being held at OKI Jubilee Stadium on 18 and 19 November and you're invited to join the R2K team.

Should you wish to join the R2K team, please send an e-mail to: bloodyblisters@r2k.info

If you're unable to attend on the day but would like to support R2K's efforts to raise funds for the NSW Cancer Council, please make a deposit to R2K's bank account with a clear deposit reference that relates to the St.George Relay for Life.

The R2K account details are the following:
