Rabbitohs sign Scott Logan

The South Sydney Rabbitohs has today announced the signing of front row forward Scott Logan from English Club Hull for the remainder of 2004 and the 2005 season.

Logan, 26, is a 115kg prop who has been playing with Hull since 2002, prior to which he played with the Sydney Roosters in the NRL.

Logan was selected in the Queensland State of Origin squad while playing with the Roosters and is looking for an opportunity to re-establish himself in the National Rugby League.

?Scott is a quality player and playing with South Sydney is the opportunity he is looking for in the NRL,? South Sydney CEO Shane Richardson said today.

The South Sydney Rabbitohs has also announced the signing of a number of talented local juniors to contracts for the following two seasons.

John Sutton, Manase Manuokafoa and Roy Bell have all been secured for two seasons with Chris Enahoro signing on for one year to remain with the South Sydney Football Club after working their way up through the Souths Juniors ranks.

These signings demonstrate the confidence the senior club has in the development of its local juniors.

?We have a number of very talented local products coming up through the grades and we are very confident that these players will be an integral part of the senior squad next season.
