Raiders down Tigers in Brisbane trial

A depleted Canberra Raiders have defeated a near full strength Wests Tigers 26-4 in tonight's NRL trial in Brisbane.

The Raiders bounced back from last week's trial when they were defeated by a combined Broncos-Recliffe-Aspley feeder side.

But in tonight's match, the Raiders convicingly downed a Tigers side consisting of Benji Marshall, Robbie Farah and John Morris.

To make matters worse for Wests Tigers, back rower Liam Fulton was stretchered off early in the second half with concussion.

Marshall Chalk bagged two tries to lead the charge for the Raiders.

The win is s timely lift for, the Raiders needed a lift before they opened their NRL account against Manly at Brookvale Oval on March 17.
