Raiders name outfit to face Broncos

The Canberra Raiders have made changes to their team for Sunday afternoons match against the Brisbane Broncos, due to injury to several players in last weekend's loss to the Cowboys.

Josh Dugan (Ankle), Terry Campese (Groin) and Joel Thompson (Groin) will all miss the match, seeing a reshuffle in the Raiders backline with Nathan Massey coming back into the team to play fullback.

Blake Ferguson moves from right wing to right centre to cover for Thompson, giving James Stuart a chance to return to the NRL team on the wing after recovering from an ankle injury.

Raiders prop David Shillington has been named in jersey 17 after making his way back from a torn pectoral muscle, pushing Toyota Cup star Josh Papalii back to 18th man.

Glen Buttriss comes back onto the bench for the injured Terry Campese.

The injury to Joel Thompson will see the Country Origin centre out for at least two weeks, with medical staff hopeful he's back to play the Eels in round 16 following the Raiders second bye.

Terry Campese has had scans on his groin this afternoon and the club will now await the results to see the extent of his injury.

Raiders Coach David Furner said the reshuffle was unfortunate for the team, however he said the injuries gave other players opportunities to step up.
