RLI RLC week 2 results

The clash of the round saw newcomers Clontarf edge oldest club Dublin Blues by four points in a high-scoring Dublin derby. Clontarf have won their 2 opening fixtures by the same 4-point margin and lead the Leinster table. Elsewhere in Leinster, East Coast Eagles almost claimed their first win of the season by leading pre-match favourites 14-4 until late in the game but the Exiles experience showed as tey held their nerve and managed to draw level before the final hooter. The match of the day in Munster saw TreatyCity Titans overwhelm Kerry Kings 36-14 in what was the historic first competitive run out for both clubs. The Titans have started very impressively but don't overlook the potential with the Kings. Led by Declan Foy, son of former Oldham stalwart and Rugby League Lion Des Foy, the Kings will no doubt have plenty of rugby to play during the rest of the Season.
