Newcastle Knights rugby league players, Adam MacDougall, Cory Paterson and Steve Simpson have been announced as official Ronald McDonald House Newcastle (RMHN) Ambassadors; giving the valuable gift of their time and support to the House over the coming year.
RMHN has provided a home away from home for the families of seriously ill children for many years and the three players have put their hands up to become Ambassadors of the House as part of the new partnership between McDonald's restaurants in the Newcastle region and the Newcastle Knights.
The House relies heavily on the support of the local community and these players have shown their true spirit for the cause by donating their time, profile and experiences. Adam, Cory and Steve will provide much-needed cheer and a positive distraction for sick children and their families, helping to take their minds off the difficult challenges they face.
