Roosters outclass Eels in Central Coast trial

The Sydney Roosters have posted a 30-22 win over Parramatta Eels in tonight's NRL trial at Bluetongue Central Coast Stadium.

With Braith Anasta and Anthony Minichiello impressive in returning from injury, the Roosters led 16-6 at half-time before fighting an Eels comeback in the second half.

The Roosters crossed for two tries in the final 10 minutes to run out winners.

In a match that saw that saw the lead change four times, the Roosters had to contend with sin-binning of captain Craig Fitzgibbon in the 14th minute before the Eels stormed back into contention in the second half.

The Eels led 22-18 at the 65th minute mark following a try to Krisnan Inu. But the Roosters struck back when Anthony Tupou scored a sensational try and set up another to ensure a victory for the Roosters.
