Round 5 charges

The Brisbane Broncos could be without forwards Andrew Gee and Petero Civoniceva for Friday night's game against the Sydney Roosters after both were charged with careless high tackles by the National Rugby League judiciary today.

Gee was charged with a grade three offence following a tackle on New Zealand Warriors forward Sione Faumiuna during yesterday's game at ANZ Stadium, won 32-12 by the Warriors.

Civoniceva was also charged with a grade three offence after a tackle on Warriors forward Wairangi Koopu. Gee could be outed for four games while Civoniceva could miss three.

Meanwhile, North Queensland fullback Matt Bowen could be suspended for three weeks after being charged with a dangerous throw. And South Sydney five-eighth Owen Craigie has been charged with two striking offences.
