charges so far

Newcastle prop Josh Perry is facing a three week suspension after being charged over two incidents following Saturday night's NRL clash against Melbourne.

Perry was handed two grade one contrary conduct charges, one for a an alleged head slam and another for allegedly kneeing Storm hooker Nathan Friend during a scuffle in the 52-6 win to the Storm. An early guilty plea for both charges would see him suspended for three matches.

Stuart Webb has been charged with a grade one striking charge which threatens to rub him out for one match, while Storm winger Jake Webster and Parramatta backrower Zeb Taia will escape a suspension with early guilty pleas to charges from weekend matches.
