Saints sign Brett Firman

St George Illawarra Dragons have announced the signing of young halfback, Brett Firman (pictured) to a two year deal.

Released form the Sharks this year, Firman has impressed in the lower grades with his passing and kicking game. Saints regular halfback, Willie Peters recently signed with Souths for 2003. An injury to Peters has forced the Dragons to use utility players, Ben Hornby and Aaron Gorrell to back up at the scrum base in recent weeks.

The announcement was made tonight by Dragons CEO, Peter Doust at tonight's 'Red V' meeting.
