Saleh to face NSWRL tribunal

St George Illawarra player Hassan Saleh is set for a significant suspension after being sent off for allegedly spitting at a touch judge during the Dragons' Premier League game against Manly on Saturday night.

The 23-year-old, who played in the 2000 World Cup for Lebanon, will face a New South Wales Rugby League tribunal this week over the allegation. It's alleged Saleh spat at the touch judge but did not hit him during his side's clash with the Sea Eagles at Brookvale Oval.

The incident has been included in the referee's report and will be further investigated tomorrow.
