SEA EAGLES RE-SIGN JORGE TAUFUA

Explosive young winger Jorge Taufua has re-signed with the Manly Warringah
Sea Eagles until the end of the 2014 season.

The versatile 20-year-old, who is already settling well into the team's talented
back line, said he's grateful to be included in the Sea Eagles' plans for the
future.

"I'm extremely happy to re-sign with such a strong club. Manly gave me an
opportunity last year in Toyota Cup and I was stoked just being selected to
train full time with such great players and great blokes.

"I'm learning all the time from the coaching staff and senior players and I'm
looking forward to the rest of my time here at the Sea Eagles."

Taufua has been quick to display his talents since making his NRL debut for
the Sea Eagles against the Dragons in Round 4 this year.

He raised the bar against the Storm on Monday night, with 19 runs for 230
metres, six tackle breaks and three line breaks to his name.

Sea Eagles coach Geoff Toovey sees plenty of star potential in Taufua.

"We're very excited about the prospect of working with Jorge over the next
few seasons," he said.

"He trained hard during the off season and has made the most of his
opportunities so far this year. He's a real asset to the club."
