Sheens signs for two more years

The Wests Tigers have rewarded Tim Sheens for the National Rugby League club's improving form by granting a two-year extension to his contract.

Sheens, who joined the Tigers in 2003, will remain at the club until the end of 2006.

The joint venture has shown steady improvement under Sheens and currently shares fifth position on the ladder with four other teams.

Sheens won premierships with Canberra in 1989, 1990 and 1994 before heading to North Queensland.

He parted from the Cowboys in 2001 before joining the Tigers last season.
