Signing news: Kemp, Ennis, Barrett

The New Zealand Warriors have signed Brisbane Broncos' Denan Kemp for two seasons beginning in 2009.

The 21-year-old outside back has scored five tries in his last eight outings with the Broncos.

In other news, Canterbury Bulldogs are closer to signing Brisbane's Michael Ennis, the Broncos hooker will reportedly make a decision by the end of this week, leaving current Bulldogs hooker Corey Hughes facing an uncertain playing future for the second year running.

Meanwhile, Trent Barrett's future is till up in the air with player manager Wayne Beavis waiting for a reply from English club Wigan.

South Sydney Rabbitohs have added to the speculation with a number of clubs linked to Barrett in recent times including the Sharks, Raiders and Barrett's former NRL club the Dragons. The Rabbitohs are rumoured to be interested in Barrett after missing out on Penrith utility Luke Lewis.

In other signing news, North Queensland has re-signed back-rower Steve Southern for the next two years and centre Ben Harris has been reatined until the end of 2011.
