North Queensland Cowboys forward Sione Faumuina has been arrested in Brisbane following an incident in a nightclub early this morning.
Police said the 27-year-old was charged with wilful damage and disorderly conduct following his arrest at the Uber nightclub at West End about 1.30am.
Television footage at the Brisbane Watchhouse was aired this morning with the New Zealander refusing to comment.
The Cowboys NRL season ended last weekend with the Townsville-based club finishing second last on the ladder. Its understood that Cowboys spokesperson would not comment, except to say that the team's season was over.
