Solomona available for Game 5

New Zealand second rower David Solomona has been handed a one-match ban after being found guilty of a dangerous tackle in his side?s 42-26 win over Great Britain in Saturday?s Gillette Tri-Nations match at Loftus Road.

The 27-year-old Wakefield Trinity Wildcats forward was put on report by referee Glen Black for the tackle that upended Great Britain prop Stuart Fielden and was referred to a specially-convened tournament disciplinary panel comprising retired judge Peter Charlesworth, Super League video referee Dave Campbell and Kiwis tour director Selwyn Bennett.

Solomona, who was also fined ?500, will be able to use New Zealand?s international against England at Warrington on Sunday to wipe out the suspension, even though he was likely to be rested for that match.

It means he will be free to face Britain in the fifth round-robin match of the Tri-Nations Series at Huddersfield on November 12.
