Stacey Jones set to decide playing future

Ex Warrior and current Les Catalans Dragon halfback, Stacey Jones, looks prepared to place his immanent retirement on hold as clubs on both sides of the globe scramble for The Little General's signature.

Early speculation pointing Jones towards the Wests Tigers club have been firmly denied from associates close to Jones. It has been suggested that he could seek a 1 year extension with his current ESL club, Les Catalans Dragons.

Given the NZ Warriors current halfback crisis, the club could fill a major hole in its playing roster by signing Jones in the twilight of his career.

English Super League club, St Helens, coached by ex NZ Warriors maestro, Daniel Anderson, are also believed to have made an offer to Jones.

A decision on Jones' playing future is expected soon.
