Champions Leeds Rhinos shocked League Leaders Wigan Warriors to make it back to Old Trafford for the fifth time in six years in a brushing encounter at DW Stadium.

Both teams were forced to make changes with key personal unavailable due to suspension and injury.

The Rhinos were without Danny McGuire, whose controversial one-match suspension had overshadowed the build-up to the game, with Rob Burrow switching into the scrum-half role.

Wigan had to plug the gap caused by injury to starman Sam Tomkins, whose place was taken by 20-year-old Jack Murphy for only his second Super League appearance.
