Storm to decide whether
to contest charges

Melbourne will today decide whether to send star duo Scott Hill and Billy Slater before the NRL judiciary to defend charges relating to last weekend's loss to Wests Tigers.

Former Test lock Hill is facing a minimum three-week ban for making contact with referee Jason Robinson, while Slater is looking at a six-week suspension for his kick to the head of Tigers prop John Skandalis.

The Storm stars were just two of nine players charged by the match review committee. Canberra is also considering whether it should contest hooker Simon Woolford's high-tackle charge, which carries a two-week ban.
