Storm v Bulldogs cricket match called off

The Twenty20 cricket match between the Melbourne Storm and Western Bulldogs has been called off due to the expected 40 degree temperatures forecast for Melbourne this Sunday.

The annual cricket match between the NRL and AFL clubs was due to be played at King's Park
Reserve in St Albans from 2pm, but after consultation between the two clubs it was decided the welfare of the players was paramount, with pre-season games for the Storm only a fortnight away.

Both the Storm and Bulldogs wish to apologies for any inconvenience caused.
