Super League Saturday - Preview

As we look ahead to Saturday's Tetley's Rugby Super League clash between Leeds Rhinos and Hull FC at Headingley, and are relishing the centre battle between Keith Senior and Richie Barnett. The Rhinos, unbeaten so far in Super League VIII, take on the high-flying Airlie Birds, who demolished Huddersfield 34-6 last Sunday afternoon to secure their third place in the table.

Both sets of fprwards are evenly matched when looking at the statistics, and this game could well be won in the three-quarters, where international class players are ready to be the difference between the sides.

New Zealand international Barnett has been a revelation since joining Hull in the off season and switching to the left centre, scoring seven tries as well as making 22 tackle busts and 11 clean breaks.

But Great Britain star Senior is one of the few players in that position who can surpass Barnett's stats this season.

The powerful centre has been in devastating form, making 473 metres more than Barnett as well as ten more tackle busts, although he has three fewer tries.

However, both players are proven match-winners and will hope to live up to that tag at Headingley on Saturday evening.
