Suspensions and injuries to hit clubs

South Sydney centre Luke MacDougall faces a lengthy suspension for a dangerous throw on Sydney Roosters fullback Anthony Minichiello. MacDougall copped a five-match suspension earlier this year for a lifting tackle on Melbourne's Scott Hill.

The 23-year-old's teammate Ben Walker is also likely to be charged for a high tackle on Roosters winger Joel Monaghan during the Rabbitohs' 17-16 victory at Aussie Stadium.

Meanwhile, Brisbane's inspirational prop Shane Webcke may be out for the rest of the NRL season after suffering a knee injury in his side's narrow loss to Penrith. Webcke is expected to be sidelined for up to six weeks.

Brent Tate, Barry Berrigan and Justin Hodges also emerged from the game with injuries to compound the problems of the Broncos, who have lost their past three matches.
