An assault charge against New Zealand Warrior and Kiwi rugby league international Logan Swann was today set down to be heard in Auckland District Court in February.
Swann's lawyer, John Haig QC, said the forward would plead not guilty.
The charge arose from a late-night incident outside a central city bar in early May.
Swann will take his place as usual for the Warriors in their National Rugby League match against St George-Illawarra in Sydney on Sunday.
