Match summary: Veteran centre Terry Hill has made a successful comeback from retirement, playing an important part in Manly's 26-20 victory over the New Zealand Warriors in Auckland today.

Hill, 33 began his first grade career with the South Sydney Rabbitohs in 1990. He joined Manly after stints with the Roosters and Western Suburbs before linking with Wests Tigers in 2000. He retired in 2004 but made a powerful return to NRL football today. Taking up from where he left off, Hill soon found himself placed on report.

Following a tries to Steve Menzies and Anthony Watmough, the Sea Eagles went to the half time break leading 12-2.

Manly were never headed in the second half and with five minutes to go, were comfortably in front by 26-14.

A late try to Clinton Toopi saw the score pegged back to 26-20, giving the Warriors one final opportunity.

But Manly held out the home side, posting a well deserved victory.

75th: TRY-Manly. Scott Donald gets a double and Manly wrap the game up. Witt converts and it's Manly 26-14.
