Parramatta Eels Vs Melbourne Storm

Even before the kick off we knew that this would be a close match. Some people were picking the storm. For the Melbourne Storm it was another home match and the crowd was a disappointing 7,747. Stephen Kearney was taking off early in the match with an injury. At half time it was a tight match with the Eels leading 12-10. In the end the Eels picked up a win 22-20. Matt Orford had a chance to draw the game after the full time siren but missed the kick. And who do you think was the referee.Paul Simpkins.

North Queensland Cowboys Vs Penrith Panthers

This match was played at Dairy Farmers Stadium. And the Penrith Panthers have won the first game in a long time. The score at half time was the Panthers leading 22-4.With a victory over the Cowboys. It was the Panthers game basically from the start. In the end the Panthers won 38 points to 8.Well done to John Lang and the team.

Dragons Vs Wests Tigers

This match was played at Win Stadium in front of 10,823 fans. With the Tigers scoring first it looked like they were going to run away with it. But the Dragons hit back late in the first half and were back in the match. At half time the score was 14-10 with the dragons leading. In the end it was a pretty easy match for the Dragons. The Tigers got a couple of late tries but it was not good enough. The Final score Dragons 33-22.
