Thorn cleared
to play against Raiders

Dual international Brad Thorn has been cleared to make his injury comeback for Brisbane against the Canberra Raiders in the NRL match at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday night.

Coach Wayne Bennett will rest back-up prop Ben Hannant from the match to allow Thorn to gain some valuable playing time after his long stretch on the sidelines with a knee injury. Broncos skipper Darren Lockyer needs just three points against the Raiders to surpass Michael DeVere as the club's all-time leading pointscorer.

Lockyer currently sits on 1080 points, two behind DeVere who left the club this season to play in England. The game will also be a milestone for Brisbane centre Justin Hodges who will play his 100th premiership game. Canberra utility Jason Croker will also celebrate a rare milestone in the clash, lining up for his 300th game for the Raiders.
