Tigers extend Ayshford contract to 2015

Wests Tigers can announce the signing of centre Blake Ayshford until the end of the 2015 season.

Off contract at the end of 2012, Ayshford has re-signed with the Club for a further three seasons.

Like many of the current Wests Tigers squad, the 23-year-old joined the Club as a youngster and has come through the development system.

After representing Australia in the Junior Kangaroos side of 2007, the former Wests Tigers Rookie of the Year made his NRL debut two years later against the Brisbane Broncos at Campbelltown Sports Stadium in which he scored a try. Ayshford has played 48 first grade games and scored 18 tries.

A permanent member of Head Coach Tim Sheens first grade side, Ayshford's signature means the formidable centre pairing with Chris Lawrence will continue for another four seasons yet.

It also makes him one of the many squad members who have committed their future to the Club for a significant period of time.
