The Tigers put on a good performance today to beat the Knights 28-12
The Knight weakened by key players out for SOO, struggled to keep up with the Tigers pack. They lacked the go forward the Knights are so used to having with the likes of Johns and Buderus.
Full credit to the Tigers, making good use of the football, though a few more scoring opportunities were bombed.
Mears (pictured) had a very good game, helping to set up tries, and deservedly scoring one of his own.
Half time had the Tigers out to a healthy lead of 20-8.
The Knights tried to hit back in the second half, and contained the Tigers more successfully. A lot of unforced errors by both sides did not help matters.
Final score of 28-12 was a good indication of how the game went.
First win in Campbelltown since last year when they played the Knights.
