Mining magnate Nathan Tinkler has reportedly withdrawn his $100 million offer to buy the Newcastle Knights NRL club.
Tinkler had been due to meet Knights chief executive Steve Burraston and chairman Rob Tew at 2pm today to resolve their issues.
But Tinkler has sent an email to board members informing them he has cancelled the offer.
Burraston and Tew have called a media conference for 2.30pm today.
