Titans can cope without Bailey

Jetstar Titans coach John Cartwright believes his side is better prepared than 12 months ago to handle the loss of co-captain Luke Bailey.

Bailey underwent surgery in Brisbane late on Thursday night after an arthroscope on his injured left ankle determined he would require a screw to be inserted into the joint.

The outcome means he will miss the remainder of the NRL season.

Despite the enormity of Bailey
