Titans smash Tigers in trial at Robina

The Gold Coast Titans have opened their new home ground at Skilled Park, Robina with a resounding 32-4 trial victory over a woeful Wests Tigers outfit last night.

In doing so, the Titans were able claim the inaugural Larry Corowa Shield in front of an enthuisatic crowd of 14,386.

The Gold Coast led 12-0 at half time before piling on another 20 points in the second stanza.

The Titans next meet the North Queensland Cowboys one March 14, round one of the NRL premiership. Wests Tigers have similar time to regroup before their round one clash against the Dragons at the SCG on Sunday, 16 March.
