Tuesday's Expert Wrap - NRL Round 13

HALFWAY! We've arrived at the end of Round 13 of the 2014 National Rugby League Telstra Premiership! Check out all the results, reports and player of the year points right here.

The proverbial fifty-metre-line of the competition sees the Penrith Panthers sitting atop the ladder together with Canterbury and Manly. The latter pair faced off on Friday night to open the round at a muddy and wet Brookvale Oval, with Manly dominating despite a slow start. Elsewhere the Eels held out a fast-finishing Cowboys at Pirtek, while Saturday saw a late triple header that kicked off with the Panthers putting the Titans away at Robina to ascend to the top. The later games on Saturday featured the Dragons making easy meat of the Sharks, and the Rabbitohs coming home strong in Perth to down the Warriors.

Move to Sunday and the Tigers fought off a gallant Newcastle in front of a healthy Novocastrian crowd, before the Roosters took care of the Storm in clinical fashion. On Monday, the Broncos comfortably defeated the Raiders in the Nation's Capital.

How on earth did SBW not get 3 points for Sunday's game? Let alone a single point! 146 m, 31 tackles, 3 offloads, 2 line break assists and a line break. The man was on fire. I'm guessing whoever awarded points for that game didn't even watch the game.
