Summary:
The Wolves started season 2012 with what many would view as an upset win over Auckland last weekend, while Manly went down 40-34 to Mounties in a shootout at Brookvale. George Rose continues to fight his way back into first grade through the VB NSW Cup however he is also being pressured by 2011 NSW Cup Representative front-rower James Cunningham. Cunningham scored a double last weekend and many on the northern beaches think it is about time he got his shot in the big show. The Wolves look to have a strong backline once again with Geoff Daniela and Jesse Sene Lefao forming arguably one of the best centre pairings in the competition, while upfront they will be lead by former Magpie Duan Poaneki and new signing Matt Robinson.
