Summary: The Cronulla Sharks made it back to back wins with a pulsating two point victory over Manly last Sunday while the North Sydney Bears never trailed as they accounted for Wests at Henson Park. The Bears halves combination in Carr and Hunt in particular are playing brilliantly at present and their clash here against Blair and Townsend promises to be a mouth watering affair. Plenty of big clashes in the forward packs as well with plenty of NRL experience on show in the likes of Green and Cordoba for the Sharks while Burgess returns from suspension for the Bears and looks to take over from Areaiiti who was one of Norths best last week. Ricky Leutele continues to develop as a quality footballer and his match up here against Bennett Leslie could prove to be a pivotal one for both sides.

Talking Point: Table toppers - It has been a few years since the Red & Black faithful have been able to look at the competition table this far into a season and see the mighty Bears logo sitting up there staring back at them.
