Waite Makes Changes For 2nd Test

GREAT Britain coach David Waite has made a few changes to his team that went down 22-18 to the Kangaroos in the first test.

Leeds prop Barrie McDermott has been promoted to the starting line-up, with Mike Forshaw who had and average game last weekend, dropping to the bench. This change in the forward pack has seen Adrian Morley drop back to second row and captain Andy Farrell back in at loose forward.

Changes in the back see Bradford scrum half Paul Deacon into his starting line- up, with Sean Long dropping to the bench for the game. Not only will Deacon bring more skill to the team in the early stages of the game, his kicking game will be very vital to help the Lions draw the series this weekend.

Leeds utility Kevin Sinfield replaces Lee Gilmour on the bench.

Paul Sculthorpe has recovered from a virus and will play in the second test, while Gary Connolly has overcome the knee injury he suffered in the First Test.
