Wakefield Trinity V Leigh - Preview

Sid Domic, one of the form centres in Super League in 2004, is set to make his first appearance of the season for Wakefield Trinity Wildcats in Sunday?s home game against Leigh Centurions.

Domic, who enjoyed a new lease of life following his move from Warrington Wolves, underwent groin surgery in the close season but has been named in the Wildcats? 18-strong squad to face the Centurions.

Coach Shane McNally said: ?He is pretty close and he has a chance of playing against Leigh on Sunday.?

Wakefield will also have second rower David Solomona back after missing Sunday?s 72-8 defeat at London Broncos to attend the birth of his baby daughter.

Leigh are without Jason Ferris (knee), Rob Jackson (calf) and Ian Knott (calf), but skipper Darren Fleary is poised to make his debut after recovering from close-season knee surgery.

The Centurions have also called former Warrington and St Helens centre Steve Maden into the squad and on Saturday announced the capture of Samoan winger Dom Feaunati from Saints.

However, he was signed too late to play on Sunday and is set to make his debut against Bradford Bulls at Hilton Park next Friday.
