Walker cleared to play against
Roosters

Manly five-eighth Ben Walker will play against the Sydney Roosters in the National Rugby League clash at Brookvale Oval on Sunday after recovering from concussion and neck problems. Walker has received a medical clearance and says he'll resume training on Wednesday.

He's been sidelined since June 21 when he collided with Cronulla prop Chris Beattie's knee and was knocked unconscious for 10 minutes. The 26-year-old has been suffering from recurring headaches since the incident and has watched the Sea Eagles lose their past three matches.

Meanwhile, Newcastle will welcome back Matt Parsons, Robbie O'Davis and Steve Simpson from injury for its encounter with competition leaders Penrith at EnergyAustralia Stadium on Friday night.
