Webcke and Seymour to play

Brisbane prop Shane Webcke and halfback Brett Seymour have given the injury-ravaged Broncos a massive boost on the eve of their heavyweight NRL sell-out with Parramatta in Sydney tomorrow night.

Webcke, who tore medial ligaments in his left knee against Penrith 11 days ago, has proved his fitness and Seymour, who has an unusual hamstring injury, also came through the team's final session with flying colours.

But skipper Darren Lockyer with a hamstring injury pulled the pin on his comeback plans despite being very close to playing. Regardless of whether they win tomorrow night, the Broncos have Lockyer, Dane Carlaw, Justin Hodges and Corey Parker on target to return for the finals.
