North Queensland winger Ty Williams has re-signed with the 2005 NRL runners-up for another four years.
The long term deal capped a dream season for the Innisfail-born 24-year-old which featured his Origin debut for Queensland and the Cowboys' maiden NRL grand final appearance. Cowboys head coach Graham Murray says Williams is being groomed as a leader at the NRL club.
Williams has played 91 first grade games for the Cowboys since debuting in 2002.
