Canberra skipper Simon Woolford has been given a deadline of Thursday to prove his fitness to play in this weekend's National Rugby League clash with Penrith.
Woolford has struggled with a lower back injury for the past week and was unable to train before Saturday's 18-14 win over St George Illawarra.
Despite the injury, Woolford turned in an inspired performance, culminating in the match-winning try. Raider's coach Matthew Elliott has named Woolford in his squad to travel to Penrith Stadium on Saturday but has given him until Thursday to prove he's recovered from the injury.
Elliott has stuck with the same unbeaten starting line-up he's used during the first three rounds of the season.
