Woolford outed for a game

Canberra Raiders captain Simon Woolford will miss this weekends clash with North Queensland after submitting an early guilty plea on a high tackle charge.

Woolford would have faced a two week suspension if he unsuccessfully fought the charge at the National Rugby League judiciary tomorrow night.

Woolford was charged following a first half high tackle on prop Joel Clinton during last Friday night?s clash with Penrith at Canberra Stadium.

Ben Hornby and Danny Nutley, the other two players charged following weekend matches, have also submitted early guilty pleas but both will escape suspension thanks to their good records and play for the Dragons and Sharks respectively this weekend.

Woolford?s replacement at hooker for Saturday night?s match in against the Cowboyse will be named later today.
