1.

Last week: 1st.

The Bunnies made them work for it, but the Red V are certainly playing good footy this year. Coincidentally, Grand Final tickets are on sale this week...

2.

Last week: 2nd.

Less flashy this time around but still a well-oiled machine, undefeated over five rounds. Their best start to a season in a long time and they've got fans in the Shaky Isles believing again.

3.

Last week: 3rd

A second win in four weekends over the premiers Melbourne. A fascinating, gritty side who won't let any game go lightly.

4.

Last week: 4th

Did what they had to against a desperate Eels. Four from five but questions still remain about their depth.

5.

Last week: 7th

Bounced back from the loss to the Warriors with a comfortable win over the Sharks. Consistency remains the issue.

6.

Last week: 5th

Would not have anticipated being dominated by the Titans but ultimately didn't shame themselves either with a late surge. Consistency a big concern.

7.

Last week: 6th

Another tough loss to the Tigers. First time they've had a negative win-loss ratio after this many rounds in a while - something they need to turn around.

8.

Last week: 12th

Another win and bang, this side looks like it could defy the experts. Need a few more wins to be taken seriously, but they look good under Brennan.

9.

Last week: 11th

Arrested the downward slide they were experiencing with a courageous win over the Broncos. Seem to be good at harnessing home crowd energy.

10.

Last week: 8th

Awful showing against the Roosters. A lack of consistency in the halves probably hasn't helped but they need to be better than they were last week.

11.

Last week: 9th

A tough grind and a late run at the Dragons bore no fruit, now they face a hungry Roosters side.

12.

Last week: 10th

A loss to Newcastle has them on the back foot for the second week in a row - the gutsy win over the Tigers in Round 3 now a distant memory.

13.

Last week: 15th

A special performance at home to down the Bulldogs, their first win of the season coming in emphatic circumstances. They'll need to keep lifting to maintain

14.

Last week: 14th

A ten-point loss to the Warriors hasn't helped their cause as the poor start continues. After a Round 1 win they've not troubled the W column since and Paul Green will be furious.

15.

Last week: 13th

A shell of the side that beat Penrith and took the fight to South Sydney in the fortnight before. Offered little in attack and holes in the defensive line now a big concern.

16.

Last week: 16th

Hung tough but still just don't appear to be good enough. King Gutho's return can't come soon enough.
