Last week: 3rd

Outstanding, dominant performance against the Warriors on ANZAC Day. They're four points behind leaders St George Illawarra on the table but their form is irresistible - and has set up an epic Sunday showdown this weekend.

2. 

Last week: 2nd

Returned to the winners circle against the Roosters in a tough contest but ultimately won by a comfortable margin. A huge test of their credentials looms against Melbourne on Sunday.

3. 

Last week: 4th

Took until the second half to hit their straps against an improved Bulldogs side but it proved their worth as a contender.

Last week: 1st

A huge fall from grace after dominating the Dragons. Desperately appear to need Johnson back.

5. 

Last week: 10th

The rollercoaster for the Broncos continues, this week they're on the up after a solid win over the Rabbitohs.

6. 

Last week: 5th

Two losses on the bounce - this one to the last-placed Eels - have big question marks over a Wests Tigers outfit that aren't looking as polished as they were a few weeks ago.

7. 

Last week: 9th

It's a good week to be a Novocastrian. They'll rate their chances of making it three-straight against the Bunnies.

8. 

Last week: 8th

Toughed out an important win in the wet on the Gold Coast. Need to keep winning and have a good chance to go three on the bounce against Parramatta on Saturday.

9. 

Last week: 6th

They weren't disgraced against the Broncos on Thursday but the loss certainly stunted their momentum. Newcastle away is a big test.

10. 

Last week: 7th

Their last few weeks have left a bit to be desired for a team that were favourites at the start of the season.

11. 

Last week: 14th

Downed an out-of-sorts Cowboys giving them a boost, a luxury they might not enjoy hosting the Titans this weekend.

12. 

Last week: 15th

Back-to-back wins after losing their first six and there is hope in the west. Is a miracle resurgence coming or have they just beaten a couple of out-of-form sides?

13. 

Last week: 12th

Got down and dirty with the Sharks but couldn't quite crack a result. Improvement was evident but their season is fading.

14. 

Last week: 16th

Didn't jag the win but put in a much better showing against the Panthers before fading late.

15. 

Last week: 11th

As soon as they looked good, they looked bad again. There are serious questions over what's happening in Townsville

16. 

Last week: 13th

Crisis continues. A loss to the Knights and another invasion of "Fortress Brookvale". Not much hope in sight either after Lachlan Croker succumbed to injury.
